To our Families & Friends,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families during this difficult time due to the coronavirus. We are doing our very best to adapt and keep your loved ones safe. These continue to be difficult times. As we navigate through these rough waters, we continue to make changes to ensure everyone is protected to the best of our ability. I am glad to report that Cavell Gardens is symptom free of the coronavirus. We have taken aggressive measures to ensure your loved ones and our staff remain as safe as possible. Currently we have;

  • Increased our screening process of all essential staff taking their temperatures daily
  • Reinforced our cleaning program throughout the building
  • Closed our dining area and are delivering all meals to resident suites
  • Opened our in-house grocery list to all residents -- No Cost to residents
  • Reinforced that all staff where the necessary PPE
  • No Visitors Allowed

Cavell is not in lockdown and residents are allowed to walk within the building or go for a walk. (Social distancing is enforced) We ask that resident's do not go out to the store or visit family. You’re welcome to drop off any necessary supplies or gifts at our front entrance and our staff will gladly deliver them to your family.

If you are interested in having your loved one live with you, this is fine, but If they were to return while the Covid-19 crisis is still with us they would need to self-isolate in her suite for 14 days.

I will be sending out ongoing communication on a regular basis.

Sincerely,

Brian Svoboda

General Manger
