VanDusen Gardens

Prefect weather for our trip to VanDusen Gardens! The Golf Cart Tour is a great way for folks to enjoy the gardens. Volunteers share lots of information as they drive you around the grounds.

Aug 20 - Scenic Drive

 Well the plan was to go to Ambleside Park for another picnic but the poor weather had other ideas so we turned it into a scenic drive through Deep Cove. Sorry no pictures from this excursion as we stayed on the bus but it was good to get out and go for a ride. 

Aug 15 - Locarno Beach

It was supposed to be a scenic drive to Locarno but it was too nice of a day so we had to stop. Nothing like ice cream and concession snacks at 11:00am at the beach!

July 26 - Country & Western Day

Peter Paulus played a fun and fitting set for our Country & Western Day! Ken even brought his horse "moppy" in for special day!

 

Aug 13 - Fort Langley

 Picnic and a little shopping afterwards in the quaint township of Fort Langley.

Aug 8 - Lunch At UBC Golf Course

 Enjoying lunch at Westward Ho! at UBC.

Chicken Wing Social

Although National Chicken Wing Day was Monday, July 29 we moved it to Thursday, Aug 1 due to the weather and what a great day it turned out to be! An excellent turnout of residents to enjoy the delicious wings!
