Cypress Pop Up Village

I don't think anyone will ever get tired of this view from Cypress Mountain.

Farm Time

We visited two farms this month so far! Our regular annual stop to Krause Berry Farms for their strawberry waffle and a new farm this year, London Farm Heritage site in Richmond.

Some May activities included a picnic at Cates Park, Mother's Day buffet brunch, Cinco De Mayo celebration and our Resident Talent Show!!

Harrison Tulip Festival

It was not looking good almost up to the day of but the weather ended up being great for our trip out to the Harrison Tulip Festival!

This year we managed two trips to see the Cherry Blossoms!

Cypress Mountain Pop Up Village

What a spectacular day to visit the Cypress Pop Up Village for our scenic drive! Such a nice change from the grey skies we've been seeing for the past few months.

 

Holiday Festivities Underway!

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!

Cavell Residents already getting into the festive spirit with decorating the Christmas tree, making crafts, wrapping socks to donate, sharing their holiday stories and enjoying a scrumptious Christmas brunch buffet!!!

Monte Carlo Night

Another year another Monte Carlo Night! Thanks to everyone who got dressed up for a night of food and fun and fundraising for our Resident Council!

SEPTEMBER Shenanigans!

September quickly came and went but we still great weather for our bus trips to Cates Park, Richmond Nature Park and Mt Seymour. We also celebrated the end of summer with an amazing lunch buffet.

Cavell Gardens was a major sponsor for Car Free Day on Main St this year and we had a great time despite the rain. Always fun chatting with folks from around the neighborhood!

AUGUST Adventures!!

Our August adventures involved a lot of eating whether it was picnics or restaurants! We travelled to Horseshoe Bay, Rocky Point and Stewart Farm.

Ambleside Beach Picnic

Our annual trip to Ambleside Beach for a picnic is always a resident favorite. This year was no different with the great weather! Folks get to enjoy a delicious catered lunch, relax in the sunshine, play some very competitive Bocce :) or take a nice walk on the path along the beach.

Annual June trip to Krause Berry Farms for their legendary Strawberry waffle!

 

Royal Victorian High Tea

We had a Royal Victorian High Tea organized by the Resident Council. It was quite the event attended by Queen Victoria, Queen Camilla and King Charles!

May Bus Outings

May brought us to some of our favorite spots including Ambleside Beach, Cates Park and Jericho Beach. It's always nice to get out to these places as the weather starts to get better.

Mother's Day Brunch

Celebrated Mother's Day early with a delicious brunch made by Elvis and DJ's kitchen crew!
