Our annual trip to Ambleside Beach for a picnic is always a resident favorite. This year was no different with the great weather! Folks get to enjoy a delicious catered lunch, relax in the sunshine, play some very competitive Bocce :) or take a nice walk on the path along the beach.
We had a Royal Victorian High Tea organized by the Resident Council. It was quite the event attended by Queen Victoria, Queen Camilla and King Charles!
May brought us to some of our favorite spots including Ambleside Beach, Cates Park and Jericho Beach. It's always nice to get out to these places as the weather starts to get better.
We managed to get perfect weather for our trip out the Harrison Tulip Festival. Got there a little earlier than last year so got to see different fields of daffodils and tulips!
We don't always get the best weather but it is always nice to get out and about anyway!

Spring is definitely in the air! What a gorgeous day for our trip to Burnaby Mountain Park to get some fresh air. We love this time of the year as we transition to warmer weather.
This year we had a special Chinese New Year themed dinner on Jan 31 sponsored by Resident Council and Cavell Gardens. There was a LOT of great food that was enjoyed by everyone!
Valentine's Day Activities!!
What a wonderful showing of love from our neighborhood! Limitless and Our House Child Care Centre visited and gave out Valentine's Day cards and flowers to our residents!!
The afternoon had the residents playing "Name That Tune - Valentine's Day Edition - Love Songs" with Patricia on the piano supplying the music!
